Meet Our Founders
Lauren Karasek
Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer
With more than 20 years of marketing agency experience - both digital and traditional - Lauren leads brand, marketing, social and email marketing strategy for Seamless’s clients across a variety of industries.
She began her career in Washington, DC working in public affairs, high-risk and crisis communications. As social media increasingly began to impact clients’ brand positioning and legal and regulatory risk, she established and led her agency’s digital marketing department when the discipline was in its infancy.
Lauren then transitioned to the west coast, where she worked in integrated PR-social media roles on a wide variety of technology clients, including AT&T, Samsung, LiveOffice (acquired by Symantec), DataSift (acquired by Meltwater), MyHealthTeams, and AeroVironment EV charging.
Now based in New York, Lauren holds a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications from the University of California: Berkeley, a graduate certificate in PACs and Political Management from the George Washington University, and has been named Executive of the Year in the Advertising, Marketing and PR industry by the American Business Awards, and New York Business Journal included her on their annual list of Women of Influence.
Emily Clinton
Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer
Emily is an award-winning digital strategist with more than a decade of marketing and branding experience across a wide range of verticals. She leads creative execution across Seamless’s clients, marrying creative content with robust analytics to ensure strategic execution.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Magazine Journalism from Syracuse University, Emily began her career working on the Time Inc. Research & Insights team, conducting consumer research for magazines: This Old House, Real Simple and All You. She transitioned into digital marketing when she joined Spark Growth, a boutique agency, during a time of rapid growth. Emily helped to elevate Spark Growth’s content output, expand service offerings, increase revenue and maximize value-add for clients, quickly advancing to join the company’s leadership team before striking out on her own.
Emily founded Clinton Creative in 2019 to bring clients an agile and hands-on approach that is often absent in large agencies. Now, as a co-founder of Seamless, she employs this same commitment to client service. Emily has won multiple awards for client campaigns including Content Marketing Strategy of the Year by the Fund Intelligence & ETF Awards and Best Nonprofit Social Media Campaign by the PR News CSR & Nonprofit Awards. She was also named Marketer of the Year by the American Business Awards.
